Creating Custom Housekeeping Service Setup

The Custom Housekeeping Service Setup screen allows users to create records of customized housekeeping services requested by the guests in the property.

Perform the following steps to create customized housekeeping services:

Navigate to Settings à Housekeeping Setup à Custom Housekeeping Service Setup.

Click Create Custom Housekeeping Service. The Create Custom Housekeeping Service screen appears.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field

Description

Custom Housekeeping Service Code

A unique code to identify the customized housekeeping service.

Up to 15 alphanumeric characters are supported.

Custom Housekeeping Display Service Code

A unique code to be displayed for services in the Housekeeping Sheet report.

Up to 2 alphanumeric characters can be entered.

Custom Housekeeping Service Name

The name of the housekeeping service.

Up to 50 alphanumeric characters are supported.

List Order

The position in which the housekeeping service code must appear in the grid. The system automatically generates a value based on the value of the previously created list item.

Up to 999 records are supported. .

Active

When enabled, it indicates that the custom housekeeping service is active.

Click Create. The custom housekeeping service is created and displayed in the grid.

Users can also perform the following actions in the Custom Housekeeping Service Setup screen:

  • Modify the details of the housekeeping service using the Edit icon.

  • Delete the housekeeping service record using the Delete icon.

  • Drag the housekeeping service record to change positions within the grid using the Drag icon. The list order number is automatically updated after the change in positions.

  • Copy the housekeeping service record using the Copy icon. When copied, all the details of the service, except the code, is copied to the new service record.

  • Search for the custom housekeeping service record using the code or name.
